About Me

I love teaching!  I have been working in schools and with kids for over 15 years.  I graduated with honors from USC with my teaching credential and B.S. in General Studies and from CSUN with my M.A. in Educational Psychology- Development, Learning, Instruction, and Evaluation.  In 2007, I began teaching for LAUSD at Germain Street School in Chatsworth but was unfortunately let go during budget cuts in 2009.  I then moved a private school in La Canada, where I taught 6th, 7th, and 8th grade language arts for four years.  I came back to LAUSD in 2014 and am thrilled to be starting my third year at Balboa Magnet in fourth grade, one of my favorite grade levels.

I enjoy all sports, being active, and living healthfully.  I'm also a lover of the outdoors and nature. I have a little girl who will be 2 in December and is my pride and joy.
