As of 3/13/17, we have reviewed the packet and the expectations. Students saw examples of the report, display board, and creative product. By Friday, they are only expected to do some basic research on 5 people they would be interested in doing this project on. We will pick on Friday, so this initial research will help them better figure out who they want to choose and have some back-ups in case their first choice is not available.
Do not get started on the official research yet as that will begin after this Friday, 3/17.

CALM Notecards
Here's how I modeled setting up the notecards to record their research. Your child should have the notes down and then are expected to add in their facts under the appropriate headings. Use the questions on the Notecards section of the packet to help you figure out what to write down. Be sure to also write your source information on the Bibliography card. Notice how I also wrote the number of the resource next to my facts.
